Admission Procedure

  1. Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/article 371(J) and any other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government whichever is applicable and provided from time to time by the State Government.
  2. The Central Admission Cell of the Sate under the commissioner of Public Instruction shall monitor the admission to the Government Seat Quota. CAC Cell shall completion of the admission processes within the stipulated time prescribed by the NCTE admission procedure. Any seats remaining vacant under this category, after completion of the admission processes by the CAC, shall not be filled in by the University of TEI’s without prior permission by the Government.
  3. The admission for management seat shall be made on merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination, if any, or any other selection process as per the policy of the Central Government/State Government/University Admission from time to time.
  4. The University shall prepare the schedule or academic calendar for both Merit and Management Quota seats by CAC and STEM board directions. The University and TEI shall follow the calendar of events. The calendar of events to be followed are:
    1. A date for the publication of notice inviting applications for admission by the University along with a list of recognized colleges by the University
    2. Last date of receipt of the applications for admission to the respective colleges.
    3. Date of selection by test or interview (if any).
    4. Date of publication of 1st, 2nd and 3rd list of candidates and last date of closure of admission.
    5. Provisional approval of the admission by the college and declaration on the college website.
    6. Last date of admission.
    7. Final list of seats admitted and forwarded to the University, for approval.
    8. Approval of admission by University and notification of admission of each college with eligibility numbers on the website.

Approval from State Govt. of the University

The list of the admitted candidate endorsed by the University shall be submitted to the STEM Board and shall take necessary monitoring in accordance with the admission eligibility and state policy.

Rules and Regulations

All students shall abide by the rules and regulations laid down for their discipline and development.

  • Students are required to be neatly dressed.
  • Costly jewelry should not be worn on the campus.
  • Students are required to attend assembly prayer and in all the activities and functions observe order at all times.
  • Students are required to help in keeping the classroom and college premises neat and tidy.

Any act of misconduct committed by a student inside or outside the college campus shall be an act of violation of discipline of the college and shall include.

  1. Disruption of teaching, study, examination or administrative works, curricular or co-curricular activities, or residential life of the members of the college.
  2. Damaging or defacing college property or property of the members of the college or any other property of the college or the sponsoring trust inside or outside the college.
  3. Use of abusive slogans or intimidator languages or incidence of violence.
  4. Ragging in any form.
  5. Eve teasing or disrespectful behavior with elders or female students.
  6. Committing forgery, tampering with or misuse of the college document or records, identity card etc.
  7. Using or possessing alcoholic drugs, narcotics and psychiatric medicines.
  8. Possessing or using any weapon such a knife, chairs, iron rod, sticks, explosives, or firearms in Hostels or College premises.
  9. Any offense under the law.

Besides

Any other act which may be considered by the management, Principal or the disciplinary committee to be an act of violation of discipline.

STUDENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO USE MOBILE PHONE IN THE CAMPUS. DISCIPLINARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AGAINST DEFAULTERS.

RAGGING IS PROHIBITED AND PUNISHABLE AND MAY RESULT IN EXPULSION / RUSTICATION / SUSPENSION / FINE, ETC.
